The Monday Juggle 2

It’s Monday!  What Are You Reading??

It's Monday, what are you reading

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week and is hosted by Kathryn at the Book Date.

What’s Going On…

This weekend flew by so fast!  I really needed an extra day before the weekly grind started up again.  I spent a few hours on Saturday and Sunday pruning some overgrown rose bushes and cleaning up flower beds.  I’m hoping the roses will come back and be full and beautiful!  I have a few war wounds as is always the case when dealing with roses.

The weather is predicted to be fairly nice this week so I have promised Simon some outings in the stroller.  I need to get walking again!  The summer clothes in my closet are taunting me – I don’t think any of them will fit at the moment.  I have a lot of sadness about this.

In Book News…

All Things Cease to Appear

This week I’ll be reading All Things Cease to Appear by Elizabeth Brundage. I’m actually already about half way through as I started it at the end of last week.  I also am itching to start an new audio book.  Everyone is buzzing about Eligible by Curtis Sittinfeld.  It’s a reboot of Pride and Prejudice and is reportedly pretty good.

I’m going to have to figure out how to multitask read.  I’ve never been very good at juggling more than one book at a time however, I think my TBR pile is growing so fast that I’m going to have to buck up and learn how to split my attention.  I think getting back to walking is a good excuse to add some audio books into the mix.

Hope you all are getting some warm weather to enjoy!

I don’t think it would be much fun if we didn’t have massive stacks of books to “moan” about! I love my book piles! Have you stopped going to the Y? Walking with Simon would be so much more fun!

I’m not very good at reading multiple books either! The exception is when I am reading a giant nonfiction book. Then I usually read some novels at the same time!

    Have a great week!
