It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? Come join in and catch up on what everyone is reading this week. A meme hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date.
What’s Going On…
The rain continues here on the East Coast. I’ve had to pour water out of my new pots. Everyone is getting a bit grumpy with the crappy weather. I’m not ready for the summer heat but I’m over the “spring” rain.
Even the Sassy Cats are getting annoyed with the dark days. One can only nap so much!
In Book News…
I was hoping to finish with The Faces of Strangers by Pia Pudakone however, I got through most of it on Saturday and just burned out. Hopefully today! I’m not sure what’s up next. The TBR calendar says The Yoga of Max’s Discontent or The Fall out…but I really want to read Ink and Bone. I love Lisa Unger and the temptation may be too strong to resist!
I guess we’ll have to wait and see. I owe many, many books an official review so that is top priority this week. I have to be better about staying on top of that! Procrastination is kind of my thing.
Enjoy your week!
Ugh…..yeah, I feel you. We’ve been pretty lucky here recently with the weather, but as the “rain city librarian” living in the Pacific Northwest, I know a thing or two about never-ending rain! :'(
I’m not sure which books are coming up for me after these next two, either. I have a stack of library books and I think I’m just going to pick one up, start reading, and see if it sticks!
Happy reading!
Thanks for stopping by! Sometimes I just grab whatever is at the top of the pile too.
I started Ink and Bone and it looks like a good one! Enjoy!
I’m getting grumpy with all of the rain, too. The sun was out some here in Virginia today. That was nice. I found out tonight that it’s going to be 90 degrees this weekend. I’m not sure I’m ready for that drastic a change!
I love the title The Yoga of Max’s Discontent. I’ll be curious to see what you end up with.
Have a great week!
Where in Virginia? I’m at the beach.
Ha! I hear ya about reviews! Ooh! The Yoga of Max’s Discontent sounds awesome! Added that to my TBR. Thanks for the intro!
