What’s Going On…
So I’m going to nerd out a bit on you guys today. I spent ALL weekend trying to find some solutions for my previously discussed organizational troubles. Luckily, I think it was time well spent! I have added some handy plugin’s to my blog to help keep me on task. It will take a bit of work getting caught up but I’m hoping to get there by the end of the year and start 2018 off right!
For those of you who are curious about the nuts and bolts of blogging – I have a brand new plugin for making templates for recurring posts (such as this one on Mondays). I have also installed Editorial Calendar to make it easier to lay out posts that should be done on certain dates. This will help so much as I have some goodies such as blog tours and author interviews coming up.
I also have something new and exciting to share with you all on Friday this week so be sure you come back and check that out.
And now…on to Books!
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you’re currently reading or you plan to reading over the next week. It’s an opportunity to visit and share your thoughts with other bloggers and, of course, add to that ever growing TBR pile! Visit Kathryn at the Book Date
This week I finished Love and Other Consolation Prizes – I started this at the end of last week and got it finished over the weekend. This was so good. As I said before it’s not a true historical fiction work if you’re a purist about those sorts of things but it reads like one and the writing was really great.
This was a first for me from Jamie Ford but I will really look forward to picking up other titles by him. I’ve heard good things about an earlier novel Hotel On The Corner of Bitter and Sweet. If you’ve read any of his books let me know what you thought!
Next up on my TBR is a book I just got but I’m looking forward to reading it so much that I’m starting it ASAP. This hits shelves 10/31 so if it looks like something you’d enjoy, you can snap it up right away. I mean really – how can you not LOVE it already just from the cover!? Thanks to Sandi Ward for the e-book copy.
Have a great week!
