What’s going on…
Whew! I’m tired, but it’s a good tired. I managed to get back to Zumba class today and I’m so glad because I’ve really missed it. After not going for a few weeks, it was a tough morning. I’m crossing my fingers I can convince the mamma to go tomorrow morning the new Zumba Strong class. That sounds a little intense, but I’d love to try it. We may need an ambulance ride home – we shall see.
I spent the afternoon yesterday doing some dejunking and reorganizing. I’m mostly working on my “office” drawers and closet. I need to get back to the store and get some more storage stuff. I hate to pack stuff in bins and boxes but I’m throwing out what I can and finding a new home for the rest. If you’ve never read Marie Kondo’s The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up then I really recommend it. Although I keep thinking about her statement that all those storage bins are for people who keep too much stuff. Sadly, true. My kitchen needs some work also but that’s for another day.
Simon has to go back to the vet this afternoon for follow up blood work. Crossing my fingers all is well and the abnormal test results from six weeks ago were a fluke. We should have results on Monday, so I’ll be tense all weekend waiting.
We had a bit more snow here on Wednesday, but only about an inch so no big deal. I’m really over the cold though! I spend most of the day cocooned in a blanket. The Sassy Cats are over the cold too, Lexie especially hates it.
As far as books go, I’m giving myself through the weekend to finally finish Salt Creek. If I can’t get it done, then I’m packing it in and giving up. I really hate to trash three weeks of time but I can’t spend forever trying to get through this one. I have so many others I’m dying to read.
That’s all for me! Just glad to be getting life back on track.
